Pakistan mediates US-Iran ceasefire plan as tensions rise in the region. Islamabad has delivered a detailed American proposal to Tehran aimed at halting the ongoing conflict.

According to international media reports, the U.S. prepared a 15-point plan and used Pakistan to communicate it to Iran. The proposal asks Iran to shut down its three major nuclear facilities and fully stop uranium enrichment on its soil.

The plan also requests Iran to suspend its ballistic missile program and reduce support for regional allied groups. In return, the United States may lift nuclear sanctions and provide assistance for Iran’s civilian nuclear program.

Another key demand includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz to restore global trade and oil shipments. The U.S. reportedly also seeks a one-month ceasefire to allow both sides to discuss the plan in detail.

Pakistan’s role as mediator has attracted attention in multiple international media outlets, including Al Jazeera and Reuters. While no official response has come from Iran or the U.S., Islamabad continues to facilitate communication between the two countries.
