RWU & US. Mission to Pakistan jointly organize an event in celebration of Black Month History

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Women University and U.S. Mission to Pakistan have jointly organized an event in connection with Black Month History at RWU.

Director Educational Affairs Sharif Sabir, Senior Financial Management Officer Lia Fischer Neal and Lia Fischer Neal Catherine Fisher were present at the event.

At the library of Rawalpindi Women University, exhibits was displayed in honor of Black Month History by the U.S Mission which was inaugurated by the guests. The exhibits showcased various interactive elements that highlighted key events in Afro-American and African history from slave trade up until modern day civil rights movements. As part of this event, Lia Fischer Neal briefed the student focusing on key contributions made by Afro-Americans throughout history. It was well received by all present and provided great insight into how far we have come in terms of racial equality. Both parties mutually decided to look forward to further areas of mutual interests and benefits.
