Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued an important update for intending pilgrims regarding Saudi Hajj visa biometrics, urging applicants to complete the mandatory process without delay. The announcement was made in Islamabad as preparations for the upcoming Hajj season move into a critical phase and visa processing timelines tighten.
The ministry said biometric verification is a compulsory requirement set by Saudi authorities for the issuance of Hajj visas. Without completing this step, pilgrims will not be able to receive their visas, regardless of other documentation being in order. Officials stressed that early compliance will help avoid last-minute difficulties and unnecessary travel or expenses.
According to the spokesperson, pilgrims can now complete their biometric verification from home using the official “Saudi Visa Bio” mobile application. The app allows users to submit fingerprints and facial data digitally, making the process faster and more convenient, especially for elderly applicants and those living far from major cities.
However, the ministry clarified that if a pilgrim is unable to complete biometrics through the app due to technical or personal reasons, an alternative option is available. Applicants can visit their nearest Saudi Tasheer Center to complete biometric verification in person. Authorities have advised pilgrims to finish this process before the announced deadline to ensure smooth visa processing.
Officials also noted that Saudi Tasheer Centers across Pakistan are operating under defined schedules, and pilgrims should confirm timings and locations in advance. Details of all authorized centers have been made available on the Pak Hajj mobile application to guide applicants accurately.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has clearly warned that failure to complete biometric verification will result in rejection of the Hajj visa application. No exceptions will be made once the deadline passes, as Saudi immigration systems strictly require verified biometric data.
Religious affairs officials have advised pilgrims to rely only on official sources for information and avoid unverified agents or middlemen claiming to offer shortcuts. They emphasized that the biometric process is straightforward and secure when completed through approved channels.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating Pakistani pilgrims and encouraged them to act promptly. By completing biometric requirements on time, pilgrims can focus on other Hajj preparations with peace of mind and avoid delays during the final stages of the process.
