The Strait of Hormuz situation has permanently changed, according to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, which issued a strong statement on recent regional developments. The announcement was shared on social media, highlighting a shift in power in the region.

The IRGC Navy said the strategic environment of the Strait of Hormuz is no longer the same and will not return to its previous state. It claimed that foreign dominance over this key waterway has ended, especially for the United States and Israel.

According to the statement, recent events in the region have altered the balance of power. Iran believes that external forces, particularly the United States, now have limited influence in nearby waters.

The IRGC also stressed that Iran remains committed to protecting its sovereignty and regional security. Officials said the country is in the final stages of a broader operational strategy aimed at establishing a local security system in the Persian Gulf.

Iranian authorities further stated that responsibility for regional stability should lie with countries in the region, not outside powers. This reflects Tehran’s long-standing position on reducing foreign involvement.

Reports suggest that Iran has increased its naval presence and upgraded its surveillance systems. The country has also improved its rapid response capabilities to defend its waters and ensure the smooth flow of energy through the Strait of Hormuz.

Military leadership in Iran warned that any attempt by the United States or its allies to challenge this new reality would result in an immediate and decisive response.

The statement came after recent remarks by Donald Trump, who warned of strong action against Iran if restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz continue. His comments included the possibility of targeting key installations.
