15 injured in drone attack at volleyball ground in Waziristan

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: On Tuesday evening, explosives were allegedly dropped from a drone camera at a volleyball ground in the Barmal area of ​​Lower Wana tehsil of South Waziristan, injuring at least 15 civilians, including children.

According to local sources, the residents of the area were busy playing a friendly volleyball match when a bomb suddenly dropped from a low-flying drone, causing chaos. The unexpected explosion caused panic among the spectators and players.

Eyewitnesses said that heavy firing started after the explosion, which spread panic in the area. Fifteen people were injured in the incident, four of whom are said to be in critical condition. The injured include young children. All the injured have been shifted to the Wana Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.
