20 million Pakistanis daily trying to watch pornographic content despite PTA restrictions

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication (PTA) has revealed that nearly 20 million people in Pakistan attempt to view pornographic content every day.

According to a spokesperson from PTA, Pakistan remains one of the leading countries in terms of the number of users trying to access explicit material online.

The report stated that PTA blocks about 20 million attempts daily to access such content.

Sinch 2018, the authority has successfully blocked over 844,000 pornographic websites. These actions are carried out through the international gateway to prevent access to these sites within Pakistan.
