Afghan citizens involved in Islamabad businessman’s murder: Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that Afghan citizens were also involved in the murder of a businessman during a robbery in Islamabad.

While holding a press conference in Islamabad, he said that the Mansoor Khan gang, which is known as the bulletproof jacket gang, is involved in the murder of businessman Amir Awan. The concerns of business leaders were justified after this incident.

He said that the accused involved in the murder of the businessman were arrested within 24 hours, and the law and order situation in Islamabad is very good.

He said that the gang belongs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the local police are also afraid of them.

Talal Chaudhry said that the Federal Minister of Interior has taken important decisions regarding Islamabad, and the federal capital will be the first smart city of Pakistan.

He said that there is no such case or murder incident in Islamabad that has not been solved.

On this occasion, Inspector General of Police Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi said that 17 teams were formed to investigate the incident, and the police were able to reach the accused with the help of modern technology.

The police chief said that the ringleader of the Mansoor Khan gang was arrested in Charsadda, after which further investigations into the case are underway.
