ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Federal Minister for Communication Aleem Khan and Pakistan People’s Party leader Palwasha Khan has a heated argument during a Senate session.
The video of the argument is going viral on social media, where the two leaders can be seen asking rude questions of each other and shouting. The clash started when the leaders were present for a Senate session on Friday.
Federal Minister Aleem Khan told the Senate that his character had been called into question for his personal benefit in his housing society.
US Senator Palwasha Khan countered that “a question is not an accusation and that she wondered why it was akin to a personal attack.”
Both of them had leveled personal allegations against the other. The minister said, “All the dishonest people of the world have gathered in this committee,” and Senator Palwasha Khan responded to this by saying that the minister is upset because he is in the wrong.
“I will reveal all your actions in front of everyone,” Aleem Khan boasted, and Senator Palwasha Khan asserted, “How dare you talk to me like this?”
Senator Palwasha Khan asked that the minister’s actions be decided by the committee, that if the minister is allowed to make any comments about her, then he may do so, and otherwise, tough measures should be adopted regarding this matter.
In the meantime, he, the Secretary of Communications, got up from his seat and went to calm down Senator Palwasha Khan.
