ISLAMABAD: After Aleema Khan expressed her displeasure over the behavior of the Additional Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Additional Advocate General and the district president of the Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) got into a fight, after which the ILF president resigned.
The matter started when Aleema Khan complained against the Advocate General for not reaching Adiala Jail, after which these differences reached the internal affairs of the Insaf Lawyers Forum.
When the matter was discussed in the official group of the ILF in Peshawar, the situation became more tense. A bitter exchange took place between the Additional Advocate General and the district president of the Insaf Lawyers Forum, during which reports of using abusive words against each other also emerged.
As the controversy escalated, Mubashir Manzoor, President of Insaf Lawyer Forum Peshawar, resigned from his post in protest. Mubashir Manzoor took the position that the behavior of Additional Advocate General Inam Yousafzai was intolerable and it was not possible to discharge his responsibility in such an environment.
