All educational institutions in Punjab will reopen as scheduled on January 12

LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has strongly denied the news and rumors circulating about the increase in holidays in educational institutions.

The Education Minister has clarified that all schools and colleges across the province will open as per the previously announced schedule and all educational institutions will open as usual from January 12.

Rana Sikandar Hayat denied the extension of holidays through his social media account and said that the notification going viral in this regard is fake.

He said that no announcement has been made by the Punjab Education Department to increase the holidays nor are holidays being extended in educational institutions of Punjab.

The Education Minister has appealed to parents, students and teachers not to believe in rumors and to trust only the information released from authentic sources of the Education Department.
