HARIPUR: An alleged video of a security supervisor harassing a female student has surfaced from Haripur University. The incident comes following a similar case at Malakand University last month.

As the video went viral on social media, the university’s vice chancellor has taken immediate action by suspending security supervisor Safeer Ahmad and formed an inquiry committee to investigate the matter.

The video, which has gone viral, reportedly shows a dialogue between the security supervisor and a female student. As per the sources, the complaints against the supervisor had been circulating for some time.

The incident has sparked outrage among students, leading to protests on campus. Meanwhile, speculation regarding the nature of the video continues to spread within the university.

The incident was reported on the heels of a similar case in Malakand University, where a complaint was filed against a university lecturer for allegedly harassing a female student.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Malakand district, Azhar Zahoor, said that the suspect has been arrested following the registration of a complaint.
