GILGIT BALTISTAN: The Markazia Anjuman-e-Imamia has announced the future action plan regarding the great tragedy of the martyrdom of the Shia world leader.

In an official letter, the Anjum-e-Imamia has stated that while declaring mourning for 40 days, the protest program will be continued every day after Zuhr prayers for a week across Baltistan, and the main protest will be at the Jamia Mosque in Skardu, where the scholars will address after the condolence meeting and Fateha recitation.

Additionally, a control room has been set up where the scholars will be in touch with the situation 24 hours a day. No American or Israeli citizen will be allowed to enter Gilgit-Baltistan under any circumstances.

Those who have incited violence during the sloganeering and protests should be arrested immediately. Based on the recent incidents, the imposition of curfew and Section 144 in Gilgit-Baltistan can worsen the situation, so the administration should be careful not to impose curfew and worsen the situation, official letter added.

Arresting anyone can make the situation more tense, so arrests should be avoided. Women and men across Baltistan are requested to organize gatherings and Quran recitation at the level of their respective homes.
