ISLAMABAD: Former Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaarul Haq Kakar and Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Hanif Abbasi clashed over the wheat import scandal.

According to sources, a bitter conversation took place between the former prime minister and Hanif Abbasi in a private hotel last night.

“You pointed us out in the wheat scandal the other day. Have you come to arrest us?” Anwaarul Haq Kakar asked Hanif Abbasi.

Sources say that Hanif Abbasi replied, I swear that you are a thief; you have taken commission in the wheat scandal. The PML-N leader added that what he said on the television program was absolutely correct.
