Asim Munir, Jordan CJCS discuss strengthening defense cooperation

RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed the commitment of the Pakistani military towards enhancing their defence relations with Jordan in a meeting with Major General Yousef Ahmed A. Al Huneiti, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces.

The meeting was held by Major General Yousef Ahmed Al Huneiti, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) of the Jordanian Armed Forces, with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF of Pakistan, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, issues concerning joint interests, regional security dynamics, and ways for more bilateral defense and military cooperation were discussed.

The foreign visitor was impressed by the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and commended them on the role they play in ensuring regional peace and stability.

The CDF highlighted the need for cooperation in meeting the changing demands of security.

The final meeting ended with an agreement to further strengthen military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
