Islamabad Traffic: diversion notice issued for tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Capital Police have issued a traffic diversion notice for citizens on December 26, 2025.

In a statement, it said that because of a special program, ‘Traffic diversions will be put up at Express Highway/Murree Road/Club Road from 11:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m.

Travellers on a route through the Express Highway from Rawat could take an alternative route through the Rawat-Rawalpindi Peshawar Road, as advised by the police.

Equally important, people commuting towards the Express Highway from IJP Road and Srinagar Highway should use the service roads inside the city.

The police have further requested that people leave with an increased travel time of 20-25 minutes to avoid any inconveniences.

Representatives of the Islamabad Traffic Police will be on the roads to facilitate the citizens. In case of any assistance, people can contact the Traffic Helpline 1915 and PUKAAR 15.

People are advised to abide by traffic laws and police directives to ensure smooth traffic movement and prevent accidents.
