AZAD KASHMIR: The government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has announced 10 days of vacations for all the madrassahs in the state, according to a notification issued by the government authorities.
According to the notification issued, due to the intensity of the heat, there will be 10-day vacations in all madrasas of Azad Kashmir.
However, Media reports suggest that due to any possible misadventure by India leds the authorities to granted vocations to the madrassahs in the state.
Earlier, the Punjab government announced the schedule of summer vacations for schools across the province amid rising temperatures.
According to the details, the holidays will begin from June 1, but the School Education Secretary Khalid Nazir Wattoo indicated that the holidays could begin a week earlier, if temperatures continue to rise.
Wattoo said that the step prioritises the health of students, teachers, and parents, as intense heat can severely impact educational activities.
