RAWALPINDI: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir met with Bangladesh Air Chief Marshal Hassan Mahmood Khan, during which bilateral defence relations and regional security were discussed.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Bangladesh Air Chief Marshal Hassan Mahmood Khan on Thursday.
The meeting discussed bilateral defence relations and regional security, and it was also agreed to further strengthen defence cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
According to the ISPR, the meeting emphasized the promotion of professional military cooperation and training exchanges.
The Bangladeshi Air Chief paid tribute to the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army and praised the role of the Pakistan Army for peace and stability in the region.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated his commitment to long-lasting defence relations with Bangladesh.
The ISPR said that the two sides agreed to further strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
