ISLAMABAD:  Fifteen selected banks around the country will be accepting Hajj applications for the applicants who opt for the government Hajj scheme from Monday onwards.

As per the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the applicants have to pay 200,000 rupees in the same bank along with the hajj application. The second portion will only be drawn 10 days after the draw.

According to the ministry, the second fee of 400,000 will be raised within the first 10 days of February of the year 2025.

The total number of Pakistani hajjis in 2025 will be 179,210, with 89,605 places especially allocated for the Government Hajj scheme.

The government Haj scheme has also allocated 5000 seats for sponsorship. These should pay in full to be included in those seats. In addition, any applicant will be exempt from this balloting from availing of this government-sponsored scheme.

Maulana Tariq Jamil criticized CII’s decision that Certificates are to be canceled as it goes against Allah’s will in the following; Once one does plastic surgery, then facelift operation should he pray using the identical body parts.

The government Hajj package includes airfare food, training, Maktab, and vaccine, according to the religion ministry.

The long package form of the government Haj scheme will last for 38 to 42 days and the short form will be a duration of 20 to 25 days.

In a group of women crossing the age, theoretically, a case can be drawn where Mahram is not required. However, health-related restrictions are also given to women because of girl dichotomy or there will be hakim services for those women who will be excluded.

Those suffering from serious diseases and those questionably pregnant women will not be allowed to perform Hajj. Children aged under 12 years will be prohibited from attending hajj along with their parents.

The acceptance of the Hajj applicants will be done from the 18th of November to the 3rd of December while the balloting will be held on the 6th of December.
