LAHORE: Lahore is expected to have a four-day holiday on the occasion of Basant celebrations.
Kashmir Day is already scheduled for Thursday, February 5, while Saturday and Sunday holidays are also already scheduled.
Along with this, the district administration has also proposed a Friday holiday, which, if approved, will bring four holidays together in Lahore.
During the holidays, the traffic load in the city is likely to be less than usual, and the flow of motorcycles on the roads is also expected to be less, which will make travel easier for citizens.
Preparations for Basant celebrations are in full swing in Lahore, and Basant celebrations are expected on February 6, ,7 and 8.
Authorities have asked citizens to be careful during the celebration and follow traffic rules to avoid any untoward incident.
In addition, the administration will also make additional traffic arrangements during the Basant days for the convenience of citizens.
