KARACHI: In an unusual request, a woman has sought permission to get a special place for begging at a sessions court in Karachi.
According to a private news channel, a woman named Ameeran Khatoon approached a local court in Karachi to get a place to beg. The petitioner also complained to the court against three other beggars that they were harassing her.
She appealed to the court for protection from harassers. The court dismissed the petition, citing its inability to meet the “illegal” demand.
Acknowledging the sentiments of the plaintiff and hoping for a solution to his problems, the court made it clear that it could not pass an unjust order.
