Benazir SIM application deadline set for June 30

KARACHI: The last date for obtaining the Benazir SIM has been set by the concerned authorities as June 30, 2026, after which the opportunity to benefit from this facility will not be available.

The administration of the Benazir Income Support Program has instructed deserving women who have already obtained the Benazir SIM to go to the nearest retailer of their respective bank and complete the biometric verification and activate their digital wallet.

After the digital wallet is activated, financial assistance and other payments can be received directly through the same system.

On the other hand, women who have not yet obtained the Benazir SIM have been advised to approach the nearest Benazir Income Support Program office with their identity card and the mobile phone in use.

According to the authorities, it will be necessary to activate the digital wallet through the retailer of the respective bank about three days after obtaining the SIM.

The administration says that in the future, all financial assistance, scholarships, and other payments will be transferred only through digital wallets, which will make the process of collecting money easier, safer, and more transparent.

The Benazir Income Support Program has appealed to all eligible women to complete the necessary steps before the due date so that they do not face any difficulties or disruption in payments in the future.
