CALIFORNIA: Meta is making a change to Facebook that will completely change the experience of using this platform.
Meta is soon going to start testing the Reimagine Experience on Facebook and is actually turning Facebook into TikTok.
That is, when users open Facebook, a full-screen video feed will appear in the app. According to the company, this change is actually what people want and prefer video the most.
The company said that along with developing tools, we want to provide people with an experience that is entertaining as well as connecting them with authentic creators.
However, if you don’t like this new change, you can skip it and return to the classic Facebook feed. Facebook’s old feed will still be available in a secondary tab in the navigation.
The company will first introduce the video-first feed this year in limited countries, where users prefer videos more.
Interestingly, this is something that TikTok was the first to make part of its app. That is, when you open TikTok, you see a full-screen video, and now it seems that Meta wants to make Facebook a full TikTok.
The company has not released any images of this new interface.
