ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari shoved Shazia Marri during a press conference, the video of which went viral on social media.
When Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was asked about handing over the Benazir Income Support Program to the provinces, Bilawal said that he did not know about it, to which Shazia Marri intervened and said that a federal minister had said this, to which Bilawal said that I did not ask you.
To Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s response, Shazia Marri said that she was saying it in her head, to which Bilawal said in a slightly angry manner, thank you, thank you.
As soon as the video of this incident went viral on social media, users started commenting on it in their own way, with most of the users calling it shoving.
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has given a clear message to the federal government, saying that neither constitutional amendment nor budget approval is possible without the support of the PPP, the country is facing a financial and economic crisis, inflation bombs are falling on the people of Pakistan.
He said that the PPP always stands with the government on national issues, constitutional amendments and major decisions, if the government does not fulfill its commitment, the PPP can review its decisions, there will be difficulties for the people in the upcoming budget, we welcome the government’s relief measures in difficult circumstances, however, it is inevitable to provide more relief to the people.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the Prime Minister requested the federal government to help the provinces in reducing inflation, on which relief is being provided to motorcyclists related to petrol.
The PPP has formed a four-member team for budget negotiations, which includes Raja Pervez Ashraf, Saleem Mandviwala, Sherry Rehman and Naveed Qamar. This team will discuss budget proposals with the government to ensure public relief.
