Brother kills sister for failing ninth exam in Okara

OKARA: In a tragic incident, a man killed his sister in the Atari Road area of Hujrah Shah Muqeem after she failed her school exam.

The police reached the spot after the FIR was submitted by the victim’s mother, after which the police departments started the investigation.

The situation escalated when a brother in a fit of anger due to his sister’s failure in ninth grade loaded a gun and pointed it towards his sister, he directly shot in her direction which caused the girl fatal injuries.

The police reported that the brother shot his sister for failing her ninth-grade exam. The suspect has fled the scene, and efforts are underway to apprehend him. A case has been filed against him based on a complaint from the victim’s mother.

In a separate incident in Kabirwala, Punjab, a stepson murdered his two stepbrothers over a matrimonial dispute.

The victims, Qaiser Abbas and Nasir Abbas were killed by Muneer Ahmed, one by shooting and the other by stabbing.

Eyewitnesses stated that Muneer Ahmed chased one stepbrother through the streets before attacking him with a knife. The police responded quickly and arrested the suspect.
