BSEK announces results of supplementary matric examinations 2023

KARACHI: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced the results of the supplementary matric examinations 2023 for both science and general groups, including regular and private candidates on Tuesday.

According to the spokesperson of the board, the success rate of candidates was 66.85%.

BSEK Chairman Dr. Syed Sharf Ali Shah stated that a total of 11,845 candidates participated in the examinations.

In the science group, 9,902 candidates registered for the supplementary exams, out of which 9,422 appeared, and 438 were absent. The pass percentage for this group was 98.10%, with 6,438 students passing successfully.

For the general group (regular), 1,673 candidates registered for the supplementary exams, with 1,584 appearing and 79 being absent. The pass rate for this group was 56.57%, with 896 students succeeding.

Similarly, in the general group (private), out of 923 candidates, 584 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 69.61%.
