By-Elections 2025: Muzaffargarh PP-269 polling halted briefly over fight

MUZAFFARGARH: Polling was stopped at polling station number 103 in Muzaffargarh PP 269 due to a fight between supporters of candidates.

Polling was stopped after 300 ballot papers were found short at the polling station, which led to a heated exchange between supporters of PPP candidate Alamdar Qureshi and independent candidate Iqbal Pitafi.

At polling station number 103, ballot papers were found short of the 2,300 voters, and polling was stopped for a few minutes due to the fight. Later, polling resumed at polling station Karamdad.

The Provincial Election Commission says that the polling process at polling station Karamdad has resumed after a brief pause.
