Saim Ayub becomes ninth Pakistani to score 1000 T20I runs

ISLAMABAD: Saim Ayub also won an important honor in the match played against Sri Lanka in the tri-nation series.

He was dismissed for 20 runs against Sri Lanka, as soon as he completed 17 runs, he became the player to score a thousand runs in T20 International cricket.

Before this match, he had scored 983 runs in T20 Internationals, he has now scored 1003 runs. Thus, Saim Ayub has now become the ninth batsman to score a thousand runs in T20 Internationals from Pakistan.

In this list, Babar Azam is at the first place with 4318 runs, Mohammad Rizwan is at the second place with 3414 runs, Mohammad Hafeez is at the third place with 2514 runs.

Shoaib Malik is at the fourth place with 2423 runs, Fakhar Zaman is at the fifth place with 2329 runs, Umar Akmal is at the sixth place with 1690 runs.

Ahmed Shehzad is in seventh place with 1431 runs, Shahid Afridi is in eighth place with 1405 runs, while Saim Ayub has moved to ninth place with 1003 runs.
