Cipher case’s hearing today in Adiala Jail

Rawalpindi: Cipher case will be heard today in Adiala Jail, in which 3 more witnesses will be presented by FIA.

According to the details, the hearing of cipher case related to Official Secret Act in Rawalpindi will be held today in Adiala Jail, the case will be heard by Special Court Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.

FIA Special Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi, Shah Khawar, Rizwan Abbasi will appear in the court.

Salman Safdar, Ali Gohar, Umair Niazi and Raja Yasir will appear in the court on behalf of PTI Chairman, while Barrister Taimur Malik and Faiza Shah will appear in the court on behalf of Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

On behalf of FIA, 3 more witnesses will be presented in the court today, on the previous hearing, the statements of three foreign ministry witnesses Muhammad Nauman, Shamoon Qaiser and Imran Sajid were recorded and the cross-examination was completed.

In the cipher case, Federal Prosecutor Zulfikar Abbas Naqvi while talking to the media outside Adiala Jail said that the statements of three witnesses were recorded in the previous hearing, in today’s hearing the statements of three more witnesses will be recorded and they will be cross-examined, a total of 26 witnesses’ statements will be recorded.
