LAHORE: A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) requesting the court to order the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR), and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate the Dubai leaks.
The petition was moved by citizen Mashkoor Hussain through advocate Nadeem Sarwar. Petitioner have made the federal government, NAB, FIA, and others parties in the petition.
In the petition, it was said that the names of many Pakistani politicians and businessmen names appeared in the Dubai leaks, mentioning that every politician must disclose all his domestic and foreign properties.

The petitioner requested LHC to order the FIA, NAB, and other relevant institutions to probe the Dubai leaks. The petitioner requested the court to direct scrutiny into properties in Dubai to ascertain whether they were acquired through legitimate means and not through money laundering activities.
The petitioner implored the court to order appropriate action against any individuals found to be involved in illegal property acquisitions.
