LAHORE: The Punjab government has granted an extension for the application deadline of the Chief Minister of Punjab Laptop Program 2026, which provides benefits to students throughout the entire province.
The latest announcement permits eligible applicants to submit their applications for the CM Punjab Laptop Program 2026 until March 20, 2026.
The extension allows students who missed the previous application window to complete their applications because of academic or technical issues. According to officials the provincial program serves as part of the government’s overall digital empowerment initiative, which provides talented students with access to advanced technological resources.
The program will distribute laptops to students who study in public universities and colleges throughout Punjab to help them develop academic abilities, research skills, and digital competencies.
The authorities have requested students who still need to submit their forms to do so immediately. The official online portal serves as the only method to submit applications because manual submissions will not be permitted.
Students must thoroughly examine the eligibility requirements and academic information, and the necessary documents, before they submit their final application.
According to the extension, remote district students who experienced internet problems will participate at higher rates than before. Education officials believe the move will ensure transparency and equal opportunity for all eligible candidates. Students should start their application process early because the revised deadline will create obstacles that lead to last-minute problems.
