CM Punjab announces laptops for 1,100 more students; Eligibility details revealed

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to provide laptops to 1100 more students participating in Jashan-e-Steam.

Jashan-e-Steam Punjab 2025 is an exciting initiative aimed at promoting innovation, creativity and scientific curiosity among students of middle and higher secondary schools.

Organized by the Steam Policy Unit Punjab in collaboration with Pak Alliance for Maths and Science (PAMS) Welfare Trust, the competition represents an attractive opportunity for students and schools participating in the Steam Pakistan program to showcase their talents and critical thinking skills.

The Punjab Chief Minister attended the event in Lahore on Tuesday where he also addressed the participating students.

He described the land of Punjab as fertile and fertile as a total of 275,000 outstanding students participated in the Jashn Steam event. He also personally inspected all the student stalls at the event.

He also praised Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat for playing a key role in recognizing the talents of students.

He said that 30,000 students have already received the “Honahar Scholarship”. Moreover, the number of Honahar Scholarships has been increased to 50,000.

During his address, he announced that 1,100 students participating in Jashn-e-Steam will be given laptops by the government.
