RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir called on MMA Champion Shahzaib Rind and British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Boxing Legend Amir Khan and Martial Arts Champion Shahzaib Rind met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
COAS appreciated both for their phenomenal achievements in the field of sports and expressed full confidence in Pakistan’s youth for their outstanding potential, it added.

The meeting comes after Shahzaib Rind was celebrated nationwide for his outstanding performance against India in Dubai where he defeated Rana Singh instantly in the match at the ‘Karate Combat’ on April 21.
