Court issues non-bailable warrants of Ali Amin Gandapur

ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad have issued non-bailable arrest warrants for former Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur, in the audio leak case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Nasr Minallah Baloch heard the case. No one appeared on behalf of Ali Amin.

The indictment proceedings were postponed due to Gandapur’s unavailability.

The court had fixed the case for indictment today. Later, the court adjourned the hearing in the audio leak case till December 5.

A case has been registered against Ali Amin at the Golra police station.

Earlier, the District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad ordered the arrest and production of former Chief Minister and PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur.

Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti heard the liquor and arms recovery case against Gandapur. The former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and his lawyer, Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan, also did not appear in court.

The court issued an arrest warrant for continuous absence and ordered the arrest and production of Ali Amin and adjourned the hearing of the case until November 11.

It should be noted that a liquor and arms recovery case has been registered against Gandapur in the Bhara Kahu police station.
