Two arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting minor boy at gunpoint

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: In a recent crackdown against rape, the police of the Lakki district arrested two main suspects, for allegedly raping a 14-year old boy minor boy on gunpoint.

The suspects are identified as Qismatullah and Neematullah. SHO Zahid Khan led this police raid with help from the police station Ghazni Khel in Jabu Khel area. From both suspects, the police recovered two Kalashnikovs and ammunition.

The police have taken the suspects into custody while investigations continues. Unfortunately, this is not a single count in that area.

Last year, a 16-year-old girl had also been entertained in the district by a rape gang. In an armed encounter, the girl was kidnapped and raped in the nearby woods, in the course of which she was later released.

The victim mentioned she came from a poor family and made a report to the police, which led to the police registering an FIR. Following this, she was subjected to a medical examination.

Police are working to bring justice and ensure that both cases are dealt with, and the people behind those heinous crimes are punished.
