Young girl gang-raped by robbers in presence of family members in Pakpattan

PAKPATTAN: A devastating incident occurred in Pakpattan, Punjab, where a 17-year-old girl was brutally gang-raped by armed robbers in front of her family.

The family, consisting of her uncle, aunt, and cousin, was ambushed while returning to Bahawalnagar from Pakpattan on Sunday night.

The robbers stopped their car near Malik Rahmoo village, snatched their belongings, and forcibly took them to a nearby field. There, they held the family hostage and sexually assaulted the teenager for 35 minutes.

The authorities promptly responded after the family reported the incident. The victim received medical treatment and counseling at the hospital and is currently in stable condition.

The police collected evidence from the scene, reviewed CCTV footage, and formed a special team to track down the suspects.

The family demands justice, urging the police to apprehend the perpetrators. They have also appealed for public support.
