CTD kills 14 terrorists in Quetta, Barkhan operations

QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed 14 terrorists during operations in Quetta and Barkhan.

According to the CTD spokesperson, an operation was conducted in the Darakhshan area of ​​Quetta, during which 8 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire.

The CTD spokesperson said that 3 officials were also injured in the exchange of fire with the terrorists.

The CTD spokesperson said that arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists. The terrorists are said to be affiliated with a banned organization; however, investigations are being conducted in this regard.

On the other hand, the CTD conducted an intelligence-based operation in Barkhan, during which 6 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire.

The CTD spokesperson said that the slain terrorists were involved in sabotage activities and arms and explosives were recovered from their possession.
