MBBS Student Dies After Falling from FJMU Hostel Building in Lahore

A tragic incident at the FJMU hostel building in Lahore claimed the life of a final-year medical student, raising serious concerns and prompting a police investigation.

According to officials, the student was enrolled at Fatima Jinnah Medical University and was living in the university hostel. She reportedly fell from the third floor of the hostel premises.

Police said rescue teams quickly shifted her to a nearby hospital after the fall. Doctors tried to save her life, but she died during treatment due to severe injuries.

University authorities stated that the student had been walking on the third floor when she suddenly felt dizzy. Moments later, she lost balance and fell from the building. The administration expressed grief over the loss and said they are cooperating with investigators.

The deceased student belonged to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and was in the final stage of her MBBS studies. Her death has left fellow students and faculty members in shock.

Meanwhile, police have started a detailed investigation into the incident at the FJMU hostel building. Officers are examining whether the fall was accidental or if other factors were involved.

Investigators said they are collecting evidence and reviewing the circumstances carefully. They aim to determine the exact cause of the fall and rule out any possibility of foul play or self-harm.

The university administration has not released further details yet. Students and staff have expressed sorrow and offered condolences to the victim’s family during this difficult time.

Authorities said the investigation will continue until all facts surrounding the incident are clear.
