How much gold does each country have?

Central banks around the world keep their countries’ gold reserves as an important part of their economic security and sustainable foreign exchange reserves, and according to the latest data, the United States is the country with the largest gold holdings, with approximately 8,133 tons of gold.

Germany is followed by Italy with 2,452 tons, France with 2,437 tons, and Russia with 2,327 tons of gold reserves, while China has about 2,306 tons. Switzerland has about 1,040 tons, India has 880 tons, and Japan has about 846 tons.

Similarly, Turkey and the Netherlands have gold reserves of about 600 tons, making them among the top 10 countries in the world with the most gold.

At the bottom of the list are countries with the least gold reserves. These include countries in Africa, Asia, and some European countries, such as Armenia, Kenya, Fiji, and Uruguay, where reserves are less than 1 ton.

Armenia has zero tons of gold on the list, while Kenya has about 0.02 tons, Fiji has 0.03 tons, and Uruguay has about 0.1 tons of gold reserves, making them among the countries with the lowest reserves.

The latest data regarding Pakistan shows that it has about 64.77 tons of gold reserves, which puts it in the middle of the global list. Although Pakistan’s reserves are somewhat higher than the levels of very powerful economies, it is far behind the countries with large reserves, but its reserves are higher than many smaller countries.

It should be noted that this data is taken from the TradingEconomics website, which provides reliable information regarding global gold reserves.
