DG ISPR refutes Indian woman pilot capture, confirms strategic strikes

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army Spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that no Indian pilot is in Pakistan’s custody.

While giving a press briefing along with officers of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy, in response to a question, he said that we do not have any Indian pilot.

It should be noted that news had surfaced in the media yesterday that Pakistani forces had arrested a female Indian pilot.

DG ISPR said that Pakistan had not requested any ceasefire, the desire for a ceasefire was expressed by India.

He said that Pakistan had successfully targeted India’s S-400 battery system at two locations, apart from this, targets were also targeted at other places.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan had destroyed military brigades in Rajouri and Nowshera, besides targeting targets in Suratgarh, Sirsa, Asampur, Awantipora, Udhampur and Pathankot. He said Pakistan also successfully targeted the Uri Networks Station and Poonch Radar.

He said Pakistan used limited capabilities in the war against India, while some were left for the future.
