Peshawar blast claims lives of two policemen

PESHAWAR: At least two policemen were martyred in a blast in Peshawar, here on Sunday.

According to the SSP Operations, the blast was a suicide blast and took place near the cattle market on the Ring Road.

He added that the police were collecting evidence from the scene.

Rescue teams and ambulances immediately reached the spot. A rescue spokesman confirmed that two people were injured in the incident, and emergency operations are underway.

Authorities have described the blast as a high-priority security concern, as the situation in the region remains tense.
