LAHORE: Almost 80% of the damage caused in Lahore is due to the uprooted Solar panels, according to the The Director General of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab.

He has urged the citizens to install the solar panels securely so that any storm cannot take down the panels and cause any harm to the people.

110 Individuals were injured during the recent storm in the city, although rainfall was forecast, but the intensity was not predicted.

Due to climate change, the global temperature has risen by one or two degrees, while in Pakistan it has risen to 4 to 5 degrees, which causes the heatwaves.
