DIG Malakand & DPO Swat dismissed from posts over Malam Jabba incident

SWAT: DIG Malakand and DPO Swat have been removed from their posts following the IED blast that targeted the convoy of foreign diplomats a few days ago while investigating the Malam Jabba incident.

According to government officials, DIG Muhammad Ali Gandapur and DPO Zahidullah have been directed to report to the CPO. According to the police, on September 22, an explosion occurred on the convoy of foreign diplomats in Malam Jabba area of ​​Swat, one policeman was martyred and 3 were injured in the blast.

On the other hand, a two-member committee has been set up by the provincial government to investigate, which includes Additional IG Investigation and Home Secretary. Sources say that the committee will investigate the incident from various aspects and after the investigation will prepare a detailed report and submit it to the provincial government.
