Dog killing case registered in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A case has been registered in the federal capital over the killing of a pet dog, police said.

According to the FIR, the case was lodged on the complaint of the dog’s owner, who nominated two suspects in the incident. The complainant alleged that the accused brutally beat his dog with a chain and kicks.

The FIR states that the injured dog, named Casper, was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where it later died.

The complainant further claimed that the suspects had previously been involved in acts of cruelty against dogs. Police have begun an investigation into the matter.
