LAHORE: It has been made mandatory for citizens to obtain a driving license from the traffic police department before putting their vehicles on the roads as heavy fines are imposed for violation.

Citizens of Punjab only need to visit the website. http://dlims.punjab.gov.pk. You will find the e-license option which is present on the homepage.
After selecting the e-license option, you need to add your CNIC number and date of birth. Later, click on the download button and you will get a PDF copy of the license.
The Lahore Traffic Police has released the driving license fee for automobiles and sports utility vehicle categories as the department has stepped up its efforts to crack down on vehicles running without a license.
