ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, Waziristan, Lower Dir and other parts of the north-western regions of the country on Wednesday.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in Parachinar, Mardan, Kohat and other districts. The National Seismic Monitoring Center said the earthquake measured 4.7 on the Richter scale and was centered in the Hindu Kush region.
Due to the strong tremors of the earthquake, people came out of their houses and continued to pray.
So far, there is no information about any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.
