ISLAMABAD: Shawwal moon sighted in Pakistan, Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated tomorrow on Wednesday (April 10) across the country.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted heavy rains and thunderstorms in parts of the country during Eidul Fitr 2024.

According to the Met Office, a westerly wave is likely to enter the upper parts of the country from April 10 followed by another strong westerly wave on April 12 that may grip most parts of the country on April 13 and persist till April 15.

As Pakistanis get ready for the Eidul Fitr celebrations, the PMD predicted a variety of weather patterns across the nation.
