RAWALPINDI: As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Education, students in Rawalpindi are set to enjoy 9 Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
As per the details, the break will begin from March 29 and continue till April 5, covering both government and private schools across the city.
The notification confirms that there will be no Class 9 board exams during the holiday.
All educational institutions will remain closed for the entire Eid week, with students being given an extended break to celebrate the festival. Officials have said that normal academic activities will resume after April 5.
It should be noted that the federal government has officially declared a public holiday, giving a three-day break on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday, the holidays will be from Monday, March 31, to Wednesday, April 2.
Offices and businesses will be closed from March 31 to April 2 and will reopen on April 3.
