PESHAWAR: Eight terrorists were killed in separate police and CTD operations in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Central Police Office (CPO) has reported that joint raids were conducted in Bannu, Khyber, and the suburban area of Peshawar’s Zahir Garhi, causing eight deaths to militants.

Security officials revealed that the killed terrorists had been involved in attacks against members of the security forces, as well as future terror activities.

In addition, they reported that a large plot was prevented during an operation in Nakak Kallay, near Shah Kass Bypass Road.

During the raid, weapons and mobile phones were seized. Search and clearance operations were also done by the security forces in the area to discourage any further activities from the militants.
