Brother of PLMN leader Rana Arshad passes away

LAHORE: In tragic news, the eldest brother of Pakistan Muslim League (PLMN) Chief Whip Rana Arshad in the Punjab Assembly has passed away.

According to family sources, Rana Nawaz was suffering from liver disease and was undergoing treatment in the hospital for a long time, where he could not survive.

The funeral prayers of the deceased will be offered today in his native Shahkot, after which the burial will be held. A large number of local people, political figures, and relatives are expected to attend.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Rana Arshad’s elder brother. She expressed her condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s rank and for patience for the bereaved family.

Maryam Nawaz said that she shares the grief of Rana Arshad and his family in this hour of grief. She prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the deceased a high position in Paradise and grant the family the strength to bear this shock.
