ISLAMABAD: An astronomer has forecasted the expected dates for 1st Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha in Pakistan.
The astronomer said, The Ramadan moon could be sighted on February 18. It is therefore highly likely that 1st Ramadan would be on February 19.
It means the moon of Shawwal can be sighted on March 20; therefore, the date of Eid al-Fitr might fall on March 21. The 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah will take place on May 17, so the date of Eid al-Adha might fall on May 27.
